I saw this on WingedWhiteTiger's Journal:
Okay. So, I was looking through the FAQ's when I came across #18, the one about how DD's (Daily Deviations) are selected, and who has the authority to suggest and select them. Looking at the list, I noticed that, while there are five different staff members that have been assigned for photography, there is only one for poetry and literature. I have also noticed that the liklihood of seeing a literary work as a daily deviation (in the month that I have been here on DeviantART), is next to none. I have only ever seen one daily deviation that was a literary work.
Now, as a writer myself, this makes me feel like the literary community is being overlooked somewhat. So, what I propose is having a second staff member added on for selecting, or at least suggesting, literary daily deviations, for both poetry and prose.
Getting back to my title, though, I do have a request of all that read this. I would like this to be passed on among the deviants, as a sort of rallying cry to attract the attention of the deviantART Staff. So please, if you would all be so kind, it would be very much appreciated to add this to your own journals, asking that this message be passed on to not only raise awareness among fellow Deviants, but to garner the DevART Staff's attention to this topic.
Rally forth, let loose the hounds,
The hunt begins this very night.
And let these words be passed around
To free the writers of this plight!
